Arriving to Porto Valitsa via Thessaloniki
If you travel by car, arriving to Kassandra and Porto Valitsa via Evzoni and Thessaloniki is the most likely route. Evzoni is the border pass north of Thessaloniki on the E75 motorway. Once you enter Greece, drive southward until you reach the Ring Road. This road allows you to avoid the second largest Greek city and its notorious traffic. Once you get around the city, follow the road toward Nea Moudania.
After Nea Moudania, follow the signposts to Kassandra. In Nea Potidaea, you can continue driving along the main road or turn to the east toward Afitos. The main road leads to Kallithea little faster, yet the alternative route is more picturesque and beautiful. Once you arrive in Kallithea, follow the road leading to Hanioti (Chaniotis) and Pefkochori.
After you leave Pefkohori behind, you’ll arrive to Paliouri/ Chrouso/ Xenia beach soon. Note that the beach is before the Paliouri village. So, if you arrive to the village, turn around and return to the beach. From Chrouso Beach, a dirt road leads you through woods to Porto Valitsa within minutes.
