However, when travelling, it is easy to get anxious over the little things. Since you are going to a new place, it is easy to get confused over the different driving systems and networks.
Or sometimes, people can’t find the right direction, whether that is because of the language barrier or lost network connection. So, we prepared the right directions on finding Porto Valitsa to ease your arrival at the resort.
If you are flying to Greece, then the closest airport to Halkidiki and Kassandra is the “Macedonia” International Airport of Thessaloniki. As one of the biggest airports in Greece, there are countless direct flights from several destinations.
Amongst them are Paris, Moscow, Istanbul, London, and Athens. If you plan to use a car once you arrive in Greece, there are car rental agencies such as Chalkidiki Cars, Sixt and hertz.
From the airport, head to Nea Moudania by passing Nea Kallikratia, Sozopoli, and Flogita along the way. Once you reach Nea Moudania, follow the signposts to Kassandra. In Potidea, you can either continue along the main road or turn to the east towards Afitos. The main road is relatively faster. However, if you feel like marveling at the picturesque villages and beautiful nature of Halkidiki, go towards Afitos. Once you arrive in Kallithea, follow the road leading to Hanioti and Pefkohori.
After Pefkohori, you’ll arrive in Paliouri, the village of Porto Valitsa.
However, to come to Porto Valitsa, you should go from Chrousso Beach. Don’t get confused. From there, you will go through the woods, and Porto Valitsa will be within minutes.
If you are travelling to Greece by car to arrive at Porto Valitsa, you will most likely come via Evzoni and Thessaloniki. Evzoni is the border pass north of Thessaloniki on the E75 motorway. Once you enter Greece, drive southward until you reach the Ring Road. Once you get around the city, follow the road toward Nea Moudania. Then follow the same instructions as above.
